The FIFA Disciplinary Committee has sanctioned F.C Barcelona

The FIFA Disciplinary Committee has sanctioned the Royal Spanish football Federation (RFEF) and Barcelona (500 000 € 410 000) and 450,000 Swiss francs (about 370 000), respectively, for violations related to the transfer and registration of players under the age of 18 years.
The sanctions were imposed after preliminary investigations carried out by the FIFA transfer matching System GmbH (FIFA TMS) covering the period between 2009 and 2013.

In accordance with article 19 of the regulations on the status and transfer of players, international transfers of players are permitted when the player has more than 18 years. However, this article provides that the international transfer of minors are only allowed on three assumptions, although these exceptions only granted after evaluation of the dossier by the Sub-Commission of the Commission on the status of the players.

According to FIFA, Barcelona has violated article 19 with ten minor footballers and committed other violations against other players, some of which are related to annex 2 of the regulation.

The Disciplinary Committee of FIFA, he is serious and he decided to punish the club with a ban on national and international transfers during two consecutive full seasons and a fine of 450,000 Swiss francs. A also was granted to the club within 90 days to regularise the situation of all concerned.

The RFEF, the disciplinary Commission has determined that this Federation has also violated article 19 of the rules of procedure and other provisions relating to the transfer and the first registration of some children. In this sense, a fine of 500,000 Swiss francs imposed on the RFEF and has enjoyed a period of a year to change its regulatory framework and the current system of transfer of minors.

On the other hand, the maximum football international agency has issued a warning against the Federation and the club, in accordance with article 14 of the disciplinary code.
